Founded in June 1968, MORPOL began as a procurement company with an initial share capital of £5,000. A decade later, in 1978, it strategically diversified its operations to include engineering and construction.. This pivotal move set the stage for MORPOL's transformation into a major EPC contractor.

Over the years, MORPOL has demonstrated remarkable growth and adaptability. The company has evolved to handle medium to large turnkey projects, with the capability to execute EPC projects valued in Multiple of $100ms in the oil & gas and power infrastructure sectors. MORPOL's expertise now encompasses a wide range of services, including the development of upstream and downstream process plants and facilities, pipeline construction, storage tank and silo installation, product loading facilities, industrial plant construction, and power plants.

In addition to new construction projects, MORPOL has developed strong capabilities in maintenance, upgrade, and rehabilitation of existing plants. The company offers specialized services such as mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation works, as well as process equipment testing and repairs. MORPOL has also carved a niche in oil and gas services, providing oil flushing, pigging, valve and meter calibration, and testing of instruments and control field devices.

Current Projects and Future Strategy

MORPOL's project portfolio showcases its strong industry position, with several ongoing and recently completed projects for major clients. A significant current project is the construction of carbon steel flowlines, bulk lines, and fiber optic cables for Shell Petroleum Development Company's EPU Phase 2 development. The company has also recently completed the EPC rehabilitation and upgrade of the NGC Ajaokuta Metering Station for Nigerian Gas Company.

Looking ahead, MORPOL has set ambitious goals for its future growth. The company envisions becoming an integrated EPC contractor for pipelines and facilities projects across the oil, gas, and power sectors within Nigeria and Africa.

To support its growth trajectory and enhance its capabilities, MORPOL has cultivated relationships with foreign principals and formed strategic alliances with both local and international technical partners.
